This is a meaningful program initiated by National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.

On June 14th, National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation held a ceremony to honor 100 prominent blood donors in Vietnam in response to World Blood Donor Day (June 14th). It is an opportunity for the social community, patients to express their gratitude for the benevolent gesture of voluntary blood donors. Thu Cuc International General Hospital is pleased to be the honored guest and one of program sponsors.

Voluntary blood donation is the annual activities of Thu Cuc International General Hospital. With every launch of the program, we received the support and got the participation of many doctors, officials and employees of the hospital. Some pictures of the Program.

Individuals were honored in the Program.

100 delegates are attending the ceremony this year coming from 63 provinces, cities, Ministries, Agencies. Although they are people living in different life situations, these have one thing in common that is the compassionate hearts and benevolent gesture for the community, in particular for patients. Everyone had special contribution to the blood donation and voluntary blood donation campaign.

Appreciating the contribution of all blood donors for people’s health, the Minister of MOH said: “without the input of these voluntary blood donors, a variety of treatments could not be implemented, patients in need of blood transfusion could hardly get out of danger. On behalf of the patients, as well as healthcare providers, I would like to express thanks to these compassionate blood donors”.
